MEANING : TDS / PPM

TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) : 

TDS stands for the total amount of dissolved solids in water. These solids can be various dissolved substances such as salts, minerals, metals, and organic compounds. TDS is usually measured in units such as milligrams per liter (mg/L) or parts per million (PPM). It is an important parameter for assessing water quality as high TDS readings can indicate an increased concentration of solutes. 

PPM (Parts Per Million) : 

PPM is a unit used to measure the concentration of a substance in a solvent, such as water. It represents the number of parts of the dissolved substance per million parts of the solvent. PPM is commonly used to quantify the concentration of dissolved solids in water or other liquids. For example, if you have 10 PPM TDS in water, it means there are 10 parts of dissolved solids per million parts of water.

Es repräsentiert die Anzahl der Teile der gelösten Substanz pro Million Teile des Lösungsmittels. PPM wird häufig verwendet, um die Konzentration von gelösten Feststoffen in Wasser oder anderen Flüssigkeiten zu quantifizieren. Wenn Sie beispielsweise 10 PPM TDS in Wasser haben, bedeutet dies, dass es 10 Teile gelöster Feststoffe pro Million Teile Wasser gibt.
